"In the early 2000's I learned about the looming extinction of many animals, especially large mammals.

The only tool I had to bring attention to this growing cataclysm was my art. By raising awareness of the issue through private art dealers, natural history museums, preservation NGOs, and a website.

I had begun by doing gory drawings of endangered wildlife. People were repulsed.

So I hit upon the idea of drawings of pretty, fashionable women, who create waste because of their lifestyle, in conjunction with wildlife extinction."
